MediaTakeOut.com received word that yesterday the UNTHINKABLE happened at a New Jersey Wal-Mart, someone went on the intercom and said “Attention Wal-Mart customers . . . All Black leave the store immediately.”
As soon as the Black customers heard the announcement, they started looking around in SHOCK and EMBARRASSMENT. In a few minutes, however, a Wal-Mart manager got onto the intercom and made a follow up announcement, apologizing for the first.
So now the question is WHAT HAPPENED? Was that some kind of Wal-Mart policy? Or was it a rogue employee? Or did some customer hack into the intercom?
So far no one knows. Wal-Mart says they are investigating how that happened. For now, the issued the below response:
We are just as appalled by this incident as our customers. Whoever did this is just wrong and acted in an inappropriate manner. Clearly, this is completely unacceptable to us and to our customers.
